Terms of Use

The service

Living Well is offered by Luminosity Development LLC as an organization tool, at getlivingwell.com. It is designed for and marketed to people in the United States. We do not target or market it to the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom. Visitors from other countries are not blocked and may create an account. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to use it for your own planning notes, not as a substitute for a lawyer, a court, or a funeral director.

Not legal, tax, or medical advice

Living Well organizes your intentions. It is not a substitute for an attorney. It does not draft a valid will, living will, POLST, or DNR, open an estate, appoint an executor or healthcare proxy, transfer title, or give legal, tax, or medical advice. Anything you write here is an intention unless and until you complete the formal documents your state requires. Laws for advance directives vary by state. Healthcare wishes in this product are family notes. They are not a living will, POLST, or medical order.

Your account and what you enter

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for who you share an invite link with. Keep your password to yourself. If you sign in with Microsoft, that sign-in is also subject to the terms that apply to that Microsoft account. Do not put account passwords into digital-account pointers, household notes, or anywhere else in the map. Living Well is not a password vault.

Invites and section unlock

Invitees see a read-only copy of the current map. For each major section you may choose: available to the executor now, after an in-app proof of death, public now (today that is the same share invite; there is no separate public map), or a date and time to release. An in-app death confirmation is a preference for staged reveal. It is not a death certificate, not legal proof of death, and not a password vault. Anyone who has the secret link can open the view-only packet, so treat the link like a key.

Acceptable use

Use the service for your own planning. Do not try to open a map that is not yours, probe the service, or use it to store information you are not allowed to hold.

Export, deletion, and availability

We may change or discontinue the service. You may export your data or delete your account from Settings at any time. After deletion we cannot restore the map. How information is stored, including cookies, is described in the Privacy Policy and the Cookies page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply the law of a different state. Luminosity Development LLC is a Washington limited liability company. If a court finds a sentence unenforceable, the rest still stands.
